LB1-1Finding the right career path for myself wasn’t easy and it took some trial and error before I found the right fit. While I was wandering down the yellow brick road looking for Oz, I learned a lot about myself. I realized that in addition to using my legal skills, I was really good at connecting people and helping others to figure out their career paths. My own personal experience as a lawyer as well as working for a corporation has provided me with a wealth of information about life, career, and finding the right balance to make it all work. Learn from my mistakes so you can make less of your own.

Lainee Beigel grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia with early political aspirations. In pursuit of these interests, she earned her B.A. from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. After four years and various internships including those on Capitol Hill, The Department of Justice, and The Center for Media and Public affairs, law school was her logical next step. After earning her Juris Doctorate in 2005 from New York Law School, Lainee litigated in New York City for several years. After ten years in Manhattan, Lainee moved to Southern Jersey to be closer to family. She now works in the insurance industry for a major global corporation, and is simultaneously in pursuit of helping others to meet their own career goals. After having been approached repeatedly through the years by friends and colleagues for career advice as well as interview and networking guidance, Lainee decided to start a consulting business. Lainee is a proud mom of two. She lives with her husband and two children in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
